Terms and Conditions for ShowVault

1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the ShowVault mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
ShowVault is a private photo stage for iPhone. The App allows users to create curated albums of photos, videos, and PDFs, and present them in a locked fullscreen Display Mode secured by Face ID, Touch ID, or a 6-digit passcode — so only selected content is visible when handing a device to another person.
Features of the App include:
- Creating and managing private photo albums
- Adding photos, videos, and PDFs to albums
- Launching a locked fullscreen Display Mode secured by Face ID, Touch ID, or PIN
- Drag-to-reorder and edit media within albums
- All content stored locally on your device — no cloud sync, no account required
3. One-Time Purchase
ShowVault is available as a one-time paid purchase on the Apple App Store. There are no subscriptions, recurring fees, or in-app purchases. Once purchased, you have a perpetual license to use the App subject to these Terms.
4. License and Usage Rights
4.1 Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.
4.2 You may not:
- Modify, reverse engineer, or decompile the App
- Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its infrastructure
- Redistribute, resell, or commercially exploit the App
- Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the App
5. Data and Privacy
5.1 ShowVault does not collect, transmit, or store any photos, videos, PDFs, or personal data on external servers. All content you add to ShowVault remains stored locally on your device.
5.2 No account is required to use the App. ShowVault does not require you to register or sign in.
5.3 Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, available at [your privacy policy URL].
5.4 ShowVault uses Apple's on-device biometric authentication (Face ID / Touch ID) to secure Display Mode. Biometric data is processed entirely by Apple's Secure Enclave and is never accessible to ShowVault.
6. Device Security and Responsibility
6.1 ShowVault locks the exit from Display Mode using Face ID, Touch ID, or a 6-digit PIN. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device passcode and biometric authentication settings.
6.2 ShowVault does not guarantee that the App prevents all unauthorized access in all circumstances. You are responsible for configuring your device appropriately.
6.3 You are responsible for maintaining backups of any important content you add to ShowVault.
7. Third-Party Services
7.1 ShowVault may use third-party frameworks for analytics or crash reporting as disclosed in our Privacy Policy.
7.2 Your use of these services may also be governed by the terms and privacy policies of those third parties.
7.3 We are not responsible for outages, interruptions, or changes caused by third-party service providers.
8. Intellectual Property
8.1 All content, features, functionality, and intellectual property in the App — including text, graphics, logos, software, and design — are owned by us or our licensors.
8.2 You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App without permission.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
- We shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of the App.
- Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App.
- We are not responsible for: device compatibility issues, data loss due to device failure or OS updates, or loss of content stored locally on your device.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless YF Apps, LLC, its officers, employees, and affiliates from any claims arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.
11. Termination
11.1 We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time.
11.2 You may terminate your use of the App by deleting it from your device.
11.3 Upon termination, all rights granted to you under these Terms will cease.
12. Changes to Terms
12.1 We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time.
12.2 Material changes may be communicated through the App or App Store update notes.
12.3 Your continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
13. Geographic Restrictions
The App is operated from the United States. We make no representation that it is appropriate for use in other locations.
14. Dispute Resolution
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States.
Arbitration
Disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
Class Action Waiver
You agree to resolve disputes individually and waive participation in class action lawsuits.
15. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
16. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and ShowVault regarding the App.

18. Apple App Store Terms
If you downloaded the App from the Apple App Store:
- These Terms are between you and ShowVault, not Apple.
- Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support services.
- Apple is not responsible for any product warranty claims.
- Apple is not responsible for addressing claims relating to the App.
- Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms.
